Italy/Spain Overview
Traveling to a new country brings a wide array of feelings with it. For me, those usually range from excitement to anxiousness to curiosity, and lets not forget the constant fear of not being able to find any vegetarian food. So naturally, going to Italy and Spain for this study abroad brought back the same type of feelings.
But, like any other trip I’ve taken, I was sure to come completely prepared with clothes, snacks, toiletries, books, chargers, my DSLR – everything you could think of. And of course after being delayed on a plane (more like a sauna) for two hours, missing a flight, and wasting the whole day in airports, my luggage was lost.
After constant communication with the airport, I came back to the hotel three days later to hear that my bag was in my room…only to discover that it was someone else’s luggage.
We moved to a different city and had to post on social media before they were finally able to track down my luggage (and 4 other people’s) and bring it to our hotel.
But other than that, the trip was full of great cultural experiences, company visits, and of course a lot of really good food. Click the buttons below for more details on my trip!
